There’s no one better to pair a wrathful Prudence with than Ambrose. Prudence is out for blood, which we understand because Father Blackwood has been an all-around terrible father to her. The beginning part of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3 sees Prudence and Ambrose on the hunt for him. Last we left Blackwood, he was on the run after an unsuccessful attempt to reform the Church of Night.
However, Ambrose and Prudence get a storyline of their own in Season 3 with their quest to find Faustus Blackwood. He is always the person Sabrina turns to when she has a question about a spell or needs help doing research. He’s not only good-looking, but he’s extremely knowledgable in his craft. Played to perfection by Chance Perdomo, Ambrose also exudes charisma. After a rough start in Part 1, which included a lynching scene that caused a major backlash, Prudence is finally getting her due in a dynamic team-up with another fan-favorite character, Ambrose Spellman. As soon as Tati Gabrielle’s character Prudence walked onscreen with her two Weird Sisters back in Part 1, a lot of us were on board. Instead, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is often at its best when it puts the focus on its other characters, especially Sabrina’s mortal and witch friends. Sabrina is a complex and, at times, infuriatingly stubborn character who finds herself having to solve problems of her own making.

Sabrina has made a lot of mistakes in the series so far, and even her Aunt Zelda this season calls her out for having a savior complex. The charm of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina doesn’t need to rely on its main character, Sabrina Spellman.
